July 5th Summer Worship begins. Service to start at 9:30 am At 9:15 we will have a hymn sing. By popular demand the Peanuts Gang is returning. This time will continue until the week after Labor Day.

NLH Quilters will meet the second Thursday at 10am each month. July 23rd is the date for July. Please bring lunch and enjoy working together making quilts for Palliative patients at NLH. The next meeting will be September 10th. All are welcome. There are many jobs other than sewing! See Nancy Frank or Cindy Davidson.

Food Pantry August 4th and 18th Open 12 to 3pm Donations of non-perishable items or money for the food pantry are always appreciated.

The Parkinson’s Advocacy and Education Group will meet the third Thursday of each month at 2:00 pm in Fellowship Hall. The next meeting will be August 20th. All are welcome. Face masks and social distancing are suggested.

Needleworkers and Painters This group will resume in September. Women and men of the church and friends meet on Wednesdays from 9 to 11 am each week to knit, crochet, hem, paint and talk for two hours of friendship.

The Mission of the Month for JULY is theNiles Scholarship . Donations may be made in the Pink envelopes in the pews. If you would like to write a check, please make out to Mayfield Presbyterian Church with Niles Scholarship written in the memo line. The August Mission will be Salvation Army of Upstate New York.

Games & Giggles For the summer this group will meet as announced. This group is open to everyone and takes place on the first and third Friday from 10am till noon. Call Carol Mason 518-661-6685 or Crystal Hinkle 518-661-6314 for more information, come join the fun!

Friday’s Table Our Mayfield Group will be serving on Friday . This held weekly at the Holy Spirit Community Center Gloversville. They will start at 2pm and finish around 5:30pm. They prepare and serve approximately 100 meals.

Presbyterian Women This group will resume meeting on September 8th.

LOOKING FORWARD

August 15th annual Golf Tournament to be held at Holland Meadows Golf Course. Registration at 8 shotgun start at 8:30. This is a four person scramble and golfers of all abilities are welcome. A delicious lunch will follow provided by Mary Lou Bryan and her intrepid burger flippers. The cost for golfters is $75, including cart. Not a golfer?
