SEPTEMBER

Worship time to change Starting September 13th Worship returns to 10:30 am. Also, Coffee/Fellowship Hour will resume.

Sunday school will start on September 13th. Lots of fun things planned for the year. Joan Clapper and Joan Stevens will teach the children songs that they will perform for us in church.

Bible Study will continue on Tuesday at 6pm September 15th when we will be completing “Unshakeable Hope- building our lives on the promises of God” by Max Lucado You may join us in church, on Facebook and Zoom. Please ask to receive an email invitation for Zoom.

NLH Quilters will meet the second Thursday at 10am each month. September 10th is the date for September. Please bring lunch and enjoy working together making quilts for Palliative patients at NLH. All are welcome. There are many jobs other than sewing! See Nancy Frank or Cindy Davidson.

Food Pantry September 1, 15, and 29. Open 12 to 3pm Donations of non-perishable items or money for the food pantry are always appreciated.

The Parkinson’s Advocacy and Education Group will meet the third Thursday of each month at 2:00 pm in Fellowship Hall. September 17th is this months date. The speaker for this month is Melissa Santa-Maria. All are welcome. Face masks and social distancing are suggested.

Needleworkers and Painters This group will resume in September. Women and men of the church and friends meet on Wednesdays from 9 to 11 am each week to knit, crochet, hem, paint and talk for two hours of friendship.

The Mission of the Month for September is The James A. Brennan Memorial Humane Society of Fulton Co. and Fulton County Regional SPCA. Donations may be made in the Pink envelopes in the pews. If you would like to write a check, please make out to Mayfield Presbyterian Church with the above name in the memo line.

Games & Giggles This group will meet September 4th and 18th.This group is open to everyone and takes place from 10am till noon. Call Carol Mason 518-661-6685 or Crystal Hinkle 518-661-6314 for more information, come join the fun!

Friday’s Table Our Mayfield Group will be serving on Friday . This held weekly at the Holy Spirit Community Center Gloversville. They will start at 2pm and finish around 5:30pm. They prepare and serve approximately 100 meals.

Presbyterian Women This group will resume meeting on September 8th. Our Bible Study is Women’s Lame and Sharing Bible verses beginning with letter I. And the least coin will be collected. All women are invited to join.
